A resource instance is a resource unit added to your environment from your blueprint. For example, if you add MongoDB to your blueprint and enable it across 3 launched environments (DEV, QA, and PROD), you will have 3 consumed resource instances of MongoDB.

A resource instance becomes chargeable when it is enabled in a launched or running environment. This applies to both free and additional instances in your plan. Charges are applied for any resource instances beyond the free 20 included in the Growth plan.

Resource instances are charged on a pro-rata basis, meaning you pay only for the days they were enabled during the month.

Yes! All infrastructure is provided in your cloud accounts. Facets also optimizes your cloud to maximize the utilization of cloud credits.

Yes, Facets works seamlessly with GCP, Azure, and AWS. Built on top of Terraform, it allows easy integration of existing resources and tools through custom modules.

It depends on the complexity of your architecture. Projects with less than 10 resources ( microservices, databases, queues) can be up and running in your first week. For larger projects, you can start with a few select resources and  then keep migrating rest of the architecture in steps

Yes, we take security seriously. We’ve previously built and sold to enterprise and growth-stage companies with stringent security and compliance requirements. We are also SOCII and ISO 27001 compliant.

No, Facets does not lock you in. When you decide to move away, we will provide you with all the IaC code and custom modules. You’ll just lose access to Facets’ GUI and control plane.
